An area where I consistently exhibit strength is strategic planning. My work as Strategic Communications Director with the College of Visual and Performing Arts at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro grew out of initial observations of this strength; it became clear that I had a knack for identifying impactful strategies and creating responsive, dynamic workflows that acknowledged and capitalized on emergent and divergent strategies.

Along that vein, I served on the board of Women in Organizing, a local nonprofit organization focusing on empowering women who work in organizing and building community; I also led our initial strategic planning retreat as we tackled some fairly large issues in terms of organizational vision, administrative approach and truly realizing the potential for transformation and the obstacles we faced.
